Ingredients
- The Protein: 1 lb boneless chicken thighs or chicken breast, cut into strips.
- The Sauté: * 3 tablespoons olive oil.
- 4 cloves garlic, minced.
- The Seasoning: 1 tsp Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- The Sauce & Cheese:
- 2 tablespoons butter.
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella or a cheddar-mozzarella blend.
- Garnish: Freshly chopped parsley.
Instructions
- Season: Toss your chicken strips with olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until evenly coated.
- Sear: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the chicken. Cook for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden-brown and cooked through.
- Garlic Butter Finish: Reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir constantly for about 1 minute until the butter is melted and the garlic is fragrant.
- Cheese Blanket: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the chicken, followed by a generous layer of shredded mozzarella.
- Melt: Cover the skillet with a lid for 2–3 minutes, or place it under the broiler for a few minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and shows golden spots.
- Garnish: Top with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
