Prep time: 15 mins | Cook time: 15–20 mins | Servings: 12–24 sliders
Ingredients
- The Bread: 1 to 2 packages (12-count each) Hawaiian sweet rolls or slider buns.
- The Filling: * 1 lb thinly sliced deli ham.
- 12–24 slices of Swiss or Provolone cheese.
- The Glaze:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted.
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard.
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce.
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds or sesame seeds.
- 1/2 tsp onion powder.
Instructions
- Prep the Rolls: Keep the rolls connected and slice the entire slab in half horizontally. Place the bottom half on a large, greased baking sheet.
- Layer: Arrange a layer of ham evenly over the bottom buns, followed by a generous layer of cheese slices.
- Assemble: Place the top half of the rolls back over the cheese and ham.
- Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder.
- Brush: Generously brush the tops of the rolls with the butter mixture, ensuring it drips down the sides. Sprinkle the poppy or sesame seeds evenly over the top.
- Bake: Cover loosely with foil and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown and slightly crisp.
- Serve: Slice between the rolls and serve warm.
